A passive and low energy technique for cooling and ventilating spaces in hot, dry climates, often described as a reverse thermal chimney as the air flows downward through chimney rather than upward as in a thermal chimney. Using the misting/fogging works on the principle of “Cold air falls down and Hot air rises up”. Requires very less amount of energy but providing enhanced cooling into the spaces.
